Michèle Hirsch formed the Hirsch & Vanhaelst association with Sophie Vanhaelst in September 2011.

She specializes in criminal law and practices mainly in business criminal law, tax criminal law, international criminal law and victims' law. 

Michèle Hirsch has served as an expert for the United Nations, the Council of Europe, the Belgian Parliament and the French Community on issues of human trafficking and prostitution. 

Michèle regularly speaks at seminars, conferences and symposia on criminal justice topics.
